Future Engineers – Primary Programme

The primary school is where a child first acquires initial knowledge and skills in a wide variety of areas.

At the same time the child also develops basic and enduring habits, concepts and attitudes to everything studied, to the teaching itself and learning as a process of individual intellectual activity.

The introduction of new technologies in the primary school provides many opportunities; and their application can help achieve a range of objectives.

Our Future Engineers – Primary Programme is designed to give our youngest students their first experience of robotics, and to enjoy learning using the newest technologies. The programme is mapped against national curriculum for computing, design and technology.

This programme provides a seamless transition into the Future Engineers Secondary Programme. Students will be involved in the development, building and programming of a robot, working in teams to ensign, build, program and document their progress. Student designed robots will be programmed to compete in various local and national challenges.

Using robotic kits and design software the objective of this course is to introduce the young student to basic programming and help them develop problem solving skills.

Students will be involved in the development, building and programming of a robot, working in teams to design, build, program and document their progress. Student designed robots will be programmed to compete in various local and national challenges.

Please note schools will be responsible for registering the programme and for any programme fees.
